01. Full name: Patricia Evelyn Carlisle

02. Best friend: She doesn't deal much with people her own age, so she has a lot of friend/elder sibling figures. Anya and Anika are her best buddies, but Anya veers more towards 'older sister' and Anika more towards 'friend' by virtue of having known Anya longer and therefore being able to nag/borrow her stuff more.

03. Sexuality: Straight but oblivious.

05. Relationship status: Single and not even considering the market

06. Ideal mate: Honestly not something she's given much thought to. All she knows is what she doesn't want, and the list is as long as her arm.

07. Turn-ons: Kind of a moot point, since she denies those tingly feelings as hard as possible. Luckily, she is easily distracted.

08. Last sexual experience: When she was thirteen, her foster brother grabbed her tits from behind. She broke his nose, burning Pewter. The "overkill" of her reaction prompted an inquiry from Child Services that ultimately led to authorities suspecting Ben of molesting her ("well if she responded that violently, there must be SOMETHING bad and sexual going on!"). So you can see why she's sort of "NO, THANK YOU." about the whole thing.

09. Favorite food: Pop Tarts. Mankind's perfect food. Portable, cheap, a source of quick energy and available in a variety of flavors!

11. Favorite music: 80s synth pop. It's sad.

12. Biggest fear: Going to prison, or being penned up at all (there are plenty of less legal facilities for people like her). She's allowing herself to be lead into Pepper's realm of digital security for exactly that reason, though she may not acknowledge it to herself.

13. Biggest fantasy: The funny thing is, she doesn't have any. She's so securely centered in the Here and Now, in current sensations and problems and victories, that she gives ZERO thought to the future, even in the form of wild daydreams. When she was hungry and homeless, it was food and a place to sleep. When she had a place with a crew, it was money. Now that she has money and security, she's not really sure what more to want. Now she's starting to realize the existence of ambition.

14. Quirks in bed: She still slews around so her head ends up at the foot. That's all I have to report.

15. Bad habits: Kind of a klepto, awfully judgey when it comes to the poor decisions of the adults in her life, prone to nagging, runs away from her mistakes rather than working through/learning from them.

17. Best kept secrets: That she murdered a priest in needless self-defense. Nobody knows that shit, and she purposefully keeps it that way. Those who research her background can easily find out about the collapse of the church roof, but no one knows that she's responsible.

01. Full name: Higashikuni Sakamae

02. Best friend(s): Mae's batsu consists of two other Kitsune: Shinozaki Yuriko, a kataribe (bard) who also happens to be Japan's current #2 musical idol, known to the public as Riko-tan. She's homid, a few years older and pretty much embodies all the fun Sakamae denies herself. In my head, she's PBed by Uehara Takako (http://www.hollow-art.com/base/uehara-takako). There's also Tsurei Kisho, a homid eji (warrior) who teaches PE at an area high school. Yuriko is desperately in love with him, but he has what you might call 'commitment issues'. Mae has watched them tapdance around the each other for forty years and they are making her tired.

03. Sexuality: Heterosexual but raised in a culture where female friends are perhaps a little more physically comfortable around one another than Westerners might realize.

04. Favorite color: Oranges and Reds.

05. Relationship status: Single, married to her work.

06. Ideal mate: Because of the high birth-mortality rates among the parents of Kitsune, they rarely form lasting relationships. But Sakamae makes lists for everything, so she's noted down these details: supportive of her ambitions, independent enough not to get whiny if she's preoccupied with work, willing to share household chores, doesn't hog the futon, able to physically protect her and, of course, Japanese.

07. Turn-ons: Striking eyes and a crooked grin. Large hands. Guys who are a little mussed or unkempt. Lovers when they've just woken up (probably because this is the only time she can physically overpower anybody).

08. Last sexual experience: She and Kisho fooled around a little before she left Kyoto. Then she cracked him over the head with her briefcase and told him he'd better damn well have sorted things out with Yuriko before she got back.

11. Favorite music: Western classical and R&B. The only J-pop she listens to is Yuriko's stuff, and that's mostly to be supportive.

12. Biggest fear: Nuclear war. Her father took her to visit the ruins of Hiroshima when she was six. The damage to both the visible world and the Mirror Realms scarred her badly and triggered her First Change. She still has screaming nightmares about it and has been unable to return since.

13. Biggest fantasy: To successfully open communications between the East and West, and see this experiment at the Napa caern do well for itself. To carry off this thing Inari-sama wants her to do, and that would be a legendary feat. (She'd never admit it, she often fantasizes about a gaggle of little Kitsune raised by both her and a faceless, living husband).

14. Quirks in bed: When on the bottom, she likes to be held down by the wrists. She's one of those that can get off just from someone fondling her breasts. If she's with Kin, she likes to manifest her tails; keeping them retracted is sometimes a problem in the heat of the moment.

15. Bad habits: Mae's really anal about organizing her things. For the love of God, don't touch or rearrange her stuff. She has a hard time accepting the blame for her mistakes, largely because she has an even harder time accepting that she's made any in the first place. Also, she grinds her teeth.

16. Biggest regret: She's beginning to wish she hadn't pledged to Kinkaku-ji so early in life. Looking back, she realizes she was pressured into it by her father and other adults who had such high expectations for her. While she's still intensely loyal to her Court, she wishes she'd given herself more time to grow, explore, and develop her own interests and motivations.

17. Best kept secrets: She's been inside the heads of prime ministers, presidents and cabinet members, so it's hard to pick...but she once agreed to do a photoshoot for a teen mag. Yes, she has the negatives.

18. Last thought: In regards to Locke: Surely he's not going to eat th--yes. Yes he is.

19. Worst sexual/romantic experience: Once, in the interest of gathering information, she worked as a personal assistant to a CEO in the whaling industry. The guy was a notorious womanizer with a few sexual harassment suits under his belt, so she wasn't surprised when he made a move on her. What shocked her was how quickly he turned violent. She only tried to lean away from him, but he hit her across the face, grabbed her by her hair and threw her into a desk. The sudden attack dazed her enough that he managed to hike her skirt up and go for her underwear before she could set his hair on fire with an elemental kami. She made her escape when security responded to the screams, and spent the next six months driving the man mad via nightmares, half-seen illusions and warehouse disasters.

20. Biggest insecurity: Her mother was a brilliant kataribe and her father is the Court's current Seer. She feels a lot of pressure to attain similar status, lest she be seen as a disappointment and an unfair exchange for her mother's life.

01. Full name: Linette Ilyana St. Paul

(Fact to be ficced: Her parents deliberately changed their surname when they emigrated from Russia, and just as deliberately named the first child born on American soil something from a different culture. They were running from certain political forces and did everything they could to wipe their trail clean...but they wobbled on the middle name)

02. Best friend: Friends tend to die off in Lynn's profession. As sad as it is, Artivunambi is probably her oldest friend, though his increasingly obvious romantic interest has driven a wedge between them in recent years.

03. Sexuality: Completely open to suggestion

04. Favorite color: Green

05. Relationship status: Currently involved with Amarante, the half-fae guardian of the lands that birthed the Napa caern. Their situation is probably best described as "loving but open", as neither has made an agreement to remain monogamous, and both are fine with that. They take things one day at a time, with no expectation of permanence...which suits Lynn to a T.

06. Ideal mate: Tigers don't mate for life, and Lynn doubts she could stand any one person for as long as she expects to live. She prefers casual relationships, typically shying away from anything called 'love'. However...she does have a duty to reproduce, so her ideal male mate would have to be very interested in children and willing to raise them without her. When dealing with men, she prefers them to be able to go toe-to-toe with her, but she's significantly more mellow in her trysts with women.

07. Turn-ons: She's drawn equally to physical beauty and power. A commanding presence is almost as good as a pretty face in her book, and she has no patience for those who can't sort out what they want from a sexual encounter. Catlike features (long limbs, exceptional grace, startling eyes) are bonuses.

08. Last sexual experience: She and Mara are still trying to figure out whether "sex in the hotsprings" is irreverent now that it's technically a holy site, but that hasn't stopped them from taking advantage of the big tubs at the chateau.

10. Crushes: Even as an adult, she still worships her kuasha, Lady Caroline Sinclair. It's not sexual, but Lynn is fairly blind to Caroline's faults and would happily slaughter anyone who offered her offense.

11. Favorite music: She's kind of a huge fan of taiko (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiko), actually. And Tuvan throat singing.

12. Biggest fear: Children. She's required to have them, but she knows she hasn't got a maternal bone in her body. Her own hypothetical offspring aside, she's very tense around living, breathing children, due to the Yava of Innocent Flesh. Granted, this only extends to dead kids, but she still doesn't trust herself around them.

13. Biggest fantasy: It's no secret that she's extremely attracted to Art. The 'forbidden fruit' angle might have something to do with it, but she can't deny that their skills and personalities compliment one another very well. Since they can never be together, she's kind of stuck fantasizing about what it might be like. Which she does. A lot. If he'd put on a shirt now and then, it might not be so bad.

14. Quirks in bed: Lynn is extremely dominant and never bottoms without a fight. It takes a lot for her to be comfortable enough to give up that control, and only a few lovers have gotten that far. Perhaps for that reason, she enjoys fucking in standing/sitting positions when it comes to straight sex, and is usually the more aggressive partner in with women.

15. Bad habits: She steals the blankets, enjoys living in 'comfortable' clutter and sheds in the shower in any form. Lynn rarely considers the advice or opinions of others. While she does well in positions of command, she doesn't enjoy responsibility and will go out of her way to avoid it.

16. Biggest regret: Yeijiro's death. Linette will probably never stop beating herself up over it. He was twenty feet away and she let the Abomination get to him first. Her only consolation is that it wasn't able to drink him dry, but only because he wounded it so badly. Nothing she did affected his fate, and what do the dead care for revenge?

17. Best kept secrets: She's fallen prey to the Yava of Innocent Flesh on more than one occasion. Given that much of her work has been with guerrilla factions and smuggling refugees to safety, she's come across (and subsequently eaten) many dead children. She's even killed comrades who were unfortunate enough to be present when the Yava struck her, in order to keep the secret. This is the one thing she despises about herself, about what she is, but she's powerless to change it.

18. Last thought: Christ, it's hot as Padang in August out here.

19. Worst sexual/romantic experience: Her first. She was fourteen, drunk on grain alcohol and some moderately attractive spectator suggested (for the umpteenth time) that she was secretly a man, that no girl could fight the way she did. She offered to prove it to him, staggered back to his tenement flop and engaged in the least pleasurable sex of her life. Any arousal or attraction died pretty quick once the groping started, and she was too drunk to think "wait, this should probably be more fun." It was awkward and grabby and more uncomfortable than painful, and she caught lice from his unwashed bedclothes. She can laugh about it now, but at the time she was embarrassed and angry (mostly at herself) about the whole thing.

20. Biggest insecurity: As a rule, the Kahn are more majestic than beautiful, and their homid forms are rarely as drop-dead-gorgeous as those of other Bastet. This doesn't typically bother Lynn, but when she's keenly aware of it at taghairms or other gatherings of various clans. This is at the root of her problem with Art: he's way prettier than she is, and she doesn't believe him when he claims to be attracted to her.
