It's a movie. AND DON'T THINK I WON'T CLAIM THAT IC, EITHER. Marvel, I love shoot 'em up movies as much as the next person, but Norse myths are action packed enough without you screwing them up!
If they make Wolverine into a teenage girl and a Thor apps at TN, I say we get together with Deadpool and do something suitably destructive to IC-Hollywood.
Yeah, except the Thor comics are to Norse myths as the new Robin Hood movie is to the real Robin Hood stories. It would force me to go OOC just to accept a Thor-movie-farce as related in any way to my own pantheon.
AND *ahem* the Warriors Three are all Marvel's fault.

I don't know, there are several (sometimes conflicting) vampire mythos at work here, and we make them work. I don't think it's fair to discount a Marvel version just because there are more true-to-life Norse gods running around. You and Iduna could pretend he was an Ultimates type of Thor, maybe: a crazy dude with a mutation that granted him Thor-like powers! But that's all speculative still. Hopefully it won't happen...hopefully the movie won't be total suck. I liked Kirk's-Daddy well enough for the role.

I never read the comics. I was afraid they'd butcher the myths. Which they did.
